Role Overview
NatureMetrics is looking for a senior Interim Head of Marketing to lead our Marketing function through a critical and fast-moving period of commercial growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can hit the ground running, bringing strategic clarity, executional rigour and the confidence to make decisions quickly in an environment where the pace is high and the expectations are higher.
You will inherit a small, ambitious team and a strong strategic foundation, but this is not a maintenance role. The Marketing Team is motivated and hard-working, but will benefit from the structure, mentorship and senior expertise that an experienced leader brings, raising the bar on output quality and helping the team grow into a higher level of performance. A genuine curiosity for our mission and the ability to translate it into compelling, credible communications is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Own and refine the marketing roadmap, ensuring it remains tightly aligned to commercial priorities and is executed with pace and precision.
Complex Messaging & Positioning: Lead the development of clear, compelling narratives across technically complex subject matter — translating science, regulation and commercial value into messaging that resonates with diverse stakeholder audiences including enterprise clients, partners and policymakers.
Team Leadership: Provide clear direction, priorities and accountability to the Marketing Team, maintaining momentum and high standards throughout the interim period.
Product & Pipeline Promotion: Drive go-to-market execution for upcoming product launches, ensuring key internal and external stakeholders are engaged and commercially ready.
Demand Generation & Sales Enablement: Oversee multi-channel demand generation activity and the delivery of high-impact sales enablement tools, managing external agencies where required.
Brand & Content Quality: Maintain a high quality bar across all communications and content, upholding brand integrity and ensuring scientific and regulatory accuracy throughout.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, Sales, Science and Product Teams to ensure Marketing activity is integrated, commercially focused and budget-efficient.
Performance Reporting & Insight: Maintain a rigorous reporting cadence for the Executive Leadership Team, tracking KPIs including lead generation, CPL and ROI, and translating data into clear, actionable insights that demonstrate Marketing's contribution to business milestones.
