We are seeking a commercially-driven Account Manager to drive revenue growth within our Conservation portfolio. In this role you will leverage your expertise in the conservation and NGO sector to drive account growth and expand the adoption of our biodiversity solutions. You will play a pivotal part in helping our clients integrate nature data into their monitoring approaches and strategies, enabling them to make informed and cost-effective decisions, prioritise conservation actions, and support global biodiversity goals and targets. It will be a unique opportunity to work at the interface of nature data and decision making across global projects, building on your already established conservation network and developing strong relationships with some of NatureMetrics established account base (see our conservation case studies for some examples eDNA Biodiversity Monitoring Case Studies (naturemetrics.com)).
The successful candidate will be a commercially focussed and strategic professional with a proven track record in revenue-focused account management, ideally within the Conservation sector. You will act as a bridge between cutting-edge biodiversity monitoring technology and the operational needs of NGOs, identifying opportunities to deliver measurable value within a complex funding and regulatory landscape. The ability to see the challenges and bring together the right stakeholders to build end-to-end MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) solutions.

You won't just be managing relationships; you will be actively identifying new revenue streams and driving the adoption of our products and services. You should possess a deep understanding of the unique operational pressures facing NGOs, including the shift toward outcome-based funding and the increasing demand for rigorous biodiversity reporting and regulatory compliance. First-hand experience in the delivery of conservation projects is a strong advantage, as it will enable you to align our solutions with the technical requirements of high-impact biodiversity initiatives.
Ultimately, you will be responsible for growing our footprint in the sector by demonstrating how NatureMetrics can optimize conservation spending, de-risk project outcomes, and unlock new institutional or private-sector investment through robust data.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth and Account Expansion
- Maximise Revenue and Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive net revenue retention (NRR) and annual recurring revenue (ARR), promoting both the growth of our accounts and clients’ sustainability goals.
- Identify and Capture Opportunities: Use your expertise in biodiversity and sustainability to uncover and act on new opportunities within existing accounts, helping clients achieve their goals while establishing long-term revenue streams.
- Deliver Tangible Value: Ensure clients realise clear ROI from our biodiversity solutions, empowering them to improve supply chain practices and advance their leadership in sustainability.
- Leverage an Established Network: Hit the ground running by activating your existing relationships across NGOs, foundations, and conservation bodies to identify high-impact opportunities for eDNA integration.
Account Coordination:
- Cultivate Strong Client Relationships: Establish and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with key Conservation clients, promoting the adoption of innovative biodiversity technologies.
- Ensure Seamless Project Delivery: Work closely with our Operations team to Oversee the delivery of projects within accounts, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, while meeting client expectations.
- Maximise Account Potential: Develop a deep understanding of client structures and decision-making processes to identify opportunities for further collaboration, including expanding biodiversity initiatives across additional business units or regions.
- Expand Market Presence: Utilize your expertise and network within the conservation community to broaden our market presence and drive conversations around biodiversity monitoring across different habitats and geographies.
- Utilise Industry Knowledge: Apply your understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., CSRD, TNFD, ISSB) to assist clients in navigating compliance requirements delivering better outcomes through biodiversity solutions.
- Advocate for Our Solutions: Represent NatureMetrics at industry events, showcasing how our tools can help clients overcome obstacles and achieve measurable progress towards their sustainability goals.
