As an Account Manager focused on the mining sector, your objective is to leverage your deep sector expertise to drive account growth and adoption of our biodiversity solutions on a global scale. In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing the use of nature data as a critical component in business decision-making, helping our clients integrate these insights to achieve sustainable and profitable outcomes. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional with a track record of delivering measurable client value within the ESG space. Direct experience in biodiversity is not required, as your proven ability to achieve positive business outcomes will be critical to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities: 
Revenue Growth and Account Expansion: 
  • Maximize Revenue and Growth: Achieve significant increases in account revenue and client base expansion by implementing strategies that drive net revenue retention (NRR) and annual recurring revenue (ARR). 
  • Seize Opportunities: Proactively identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts, converting them into long-term revenue streams. 
  • Deliver Measurable Value: Ensure clients realize clear and compelling ROI from our solutions, helping them become best-in-class in their respective sectors 
Customer Relationship Management: 
  • Build Strong Client Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key clients, essential when driving adoption of new and innovative technologies. 
  • Drive Client Success: Regularly engage with clients to ensure their objectives are met, resulting in long-term retention and growth of accounts. 
Sentiment and Value Enhancement: 
  • Enhance Client Sentiment: Monitor and improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, feeding insights back into the wider business to inform future product and operational development 
  • Increase Account Value: Identify and execute on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell, increasing the overall value of each account. 
Account Coordination: 
  • Ensure Seamless Delivery: Oversee the delivery of all projects within key accounts, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the client’s satisfaction. 
  • Optimize Account Potential: Understand client structures and decision-making processes to unlock further business opportunities. 
Sector Expertise: 
  • Expand Market Reach: Leverage your sector expertise to expand our presence within the mining industry, and drive forward the conversation around nature-based solutions  
  • Leverage Industry Knowledge: Use your deep understanding of the mining sector and broader regulatory landscape to drive client success and position our solutions as critical to their operations. 
  • Promote Our Solutions: Act as an advocate for our tools within industry circles, driving broader adoption and recognition within the sector. 

About you
  • Experience: significant experience in the mining sector, with a proven track record of delivering business results. 
  • Sales Excellence: Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding client bases within the mining industry. 
  • Strategic Insight: Strong understanding of the mining sector’s challenges and opportunities, and the ability to translate this into business growth. 
  • Industry Engagement: Active involvement with key industry bodies and stakeholders, enhancing our market presence and credibility.
